An unnamed woman was one of the Adderhead's wives, the mother of Violante, and the grandmother of Jacopo.
Biography[]
When she was young, she lived in The Castle in the Lake with her two sisters and her father.[1]
By the time that the Adderhead arrived at the castle, she had become so desperate to escape that she showed him a tunnel that allowed him to enter or exit the Castle in the lake safely, which is heavily implied how they escaped from her overbearing and murderous father.
