The Motley Folk, also known as "the strolling players", is a loyal group of strolling entertainers who live and perform together to the public.

Overview[edit | edit source]

The Motley Folk travels between Lombrica and Argenta, the two principalities of the Inkworld, led by their own Black Prince. The Motley Folk consists of conjurors, tightrope-walkers, fire-eaters, and knife-throwers.

  • Sootbird (traitor; fire-eater)

Notes[edit | edit source]

  • Being a strolling player does not necessarily mean being a part of the Motley Folk; a strolling player is just that, a player (an entertainer of skills) who strolls. Only a specific group of close-knit strolling players are called the Motley Folk.[1]
