Flatnose was one of Capricorn's highest-ranked servants. He was read out of Inkheart by Darius. Capricorn and Basta had him perform many of their tasks, during which he was also almost always seen alongside Cockerell. Flatnose fell to ash after Meggie Folchart read her words.[2]
