Eliza Hope Bennett (born March 17, 1992) is an English actress who plays Meggie Folchart in the film adaptation of Cornelia Funke's Inkheart. She is also the vocal of the end credit song of Inkheart - "My Declaration", originally written and performed by Tom Baxter.

Bennett is most notable for her role in Inkheart, and it is considered her breakthrough role.

  • After the filming of Inkheart was at the end, Bennett was approached and asked whether she would like to cover the song "My Declaration" and have a music video made; she accepted the offer. The extra footage used in the music video is filmed in England. Co-star Rafi Gavron, who played Farid, a character that is somewhat hinted as Bennett's character's potential love interest, also appears in the video.[1]
