Death is a being that can change its form at will, becoming any animal by shedding its outer parts (eg. skin, feathers, scales) and allowing the skeleton to change form, becoming a new creature. It has control over the White Women, who are said to be its daughters.
Biography[edit | edit source]
Death had the White Women bring Mortimer Folchart to an otherworldly realm, allowing him to watch over Dustfinger's dead body. Death urged him to get rid of the White Book, as it bound its hands when it came to the Adderhead. Death promised to take his daughter's life if he did not comply, as she had helped bind the White book which made Adderhead immortal. Furthermore, Death also warned of Orpheus, before allowing Dustfinger to be resurrected.
History[edit | edit source]
Death seems to be omnipresent, as Death told Mortimer Folchart of how his death would be certain during their bargain. Death showed this was true by changing into a one-eared cat that used to roam Elinor Loredan's garden. Mo later speculated such omnipresence.
Characteristics[edit | edit source]
Though Death is genderless, it often makes use of a woman's voice.
